The tranquility of one cup of tea is a comforting theme I regularly come back to as the seasons change. As they do, so does the cup’s look. This cup, for instance, was painted around the end of summer. By then the fruits were long gone, yet the bright sun highlighted the fresh green leaves on my cherry tree. Suddenly, I found myself longing for the fruit’s color to linger just a little longer, even if on paper only.
